Exchange 2013 Deployment Prerequisites

There is no in-place upgrade to Exchnage 2013.  You transition from previous release to 2013 by moving mailboxes then decommission the old.

During the install process wizard will know if Schema and AD has been prepped.

Prepare all domain in the exchange infrastructure

Two commands easy to remember::
//PrepareAD - prep AD and Schema
/PrepareAllDomains - prep all domains


Install RSAT AD feature

Note: CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER on CMD Prompt will open in Administrator mode

Requisites for Exchange 2013

Server 2008 require more perquisites then 2012.  Requites are installed using PS commands.

There are different prerequisites for a server running server 2012 and one running server 2008 R2

Use the prerequisite commands provided by MS to male the deploymnet eaiser through PowerShell
